Customer service team employee

Our customer is searching for a customer service team employee (English language)

As CST member, to sell and to perform the sales administration in order to allow an optimal sales process, consolidate the market position and assure a maximum satisfaction of the customers.

Main responsibilities
- Performs the sales administration tasks
- Reception of orders and control of compliance with the price quotations
- Material availability check
- Credit check : credit line, due invoices …
- Input and follow up of the orders in SAP : pricing, hedging, delivery instructions, modifications, …
- Acts as an intermediary between the plant and the customers/agents in case of problems : delivery delay, quality issues, …
- Acts as an intermediary between the customers/agents and other departments (credit management, …) in case of problems : payment delay, …
- Issues invoices in line with the payment terms and price conditions.
- Receipt and registration of complaints. Follow up in line with instructions of the quality department and sales managers.
- Booking of sea transport with Manuport
- Administration and follow up of the consignment stocks
- In charge of Material Master Data, Customer Master Data, COA profiles, …
- Follow up of agent commissions
- Sample requests and follow up
- Backup in absence of colleagues
- Purchases ZnO
- Input in SAP, contract with the suppliers, approval of invoices
- Assists the Sales Managers
- Preparation and writing of prices quotations in line with the sales policy, budget and market situation
- Follow up of the quotations
- Preparation of commercial files for important negotiations
- Visits to customers with the Sales Managers

Level of responsibility
- Acts as an intermediary between the customers, the plant and other departments
- Ability to find quick solutions to meet the customer’s requirements.
- Collaborates with the plant and other departments
- Creative in the search of alternative solutions
- Follows the procedures and the hierarchical directives
- Exercises reasonable care and informs the CST, CST Mgr and sales managers in case of more complex problems
- Takes the necessary initiatives regarding price quotations, the input and follow up of orders, the invoicing of deliveries, the handling of complaints and other commercial tasks.
- Accuracy needed in order to avoid errors in price calculation, hedging, follow up of credit lines, …that can have a financial impact and lead to customer’s dissatisfaction

Required profile
- Master’s degree or equivalent in commercial, economics or other
- M/S office, Excel, Word, Outlook, SAP
- Language : active knowledge of English, any other language knowledge is a plus
- Good knowledge of the sales process (incoterms, quotations,…) & the products is a plus

Personal skills
- Strong interest for commercial contacts
- Careful, rigorous, have an acute sense of organization
- True teamplayer and good spirit of communication (tactful, diplomatic)
- Sense of responsibility
- Ability to work under pressure and to manage the priorities
